Howie Stackz teams up yet again with THE Fillmore Harvard production team to bring you the first visual off of his new EP Humidity, which premiered ON ITSTHELAND.COM.
The song Aleesha Keyes (named so because it's in the key of A Minor), speaks on living a lifestyle that conflicts with societAL norms. Though things like medical/recreational marijuana are becoming more and more acceptable in mainstream culture, it is still frowned upon; Tattoos are still frowned upon, and many college students find themselves pursuing graduate level work simply to PAY off their loans.
The world is changing, and not all of our parents prepared us for those changes or even made it long enough to watch the world change with us. This song is for those who are faced with tough decisions early in life and find themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place; a moral conundrum.
This song is for those who find themselves living what is considered and alternative lifestyle or can't seem to get the job they thought they would've been catapulted into after highschool or college.
This song is for the people who have to make heavy decisions and don't know how to combat their stress. I hope that whatever is holding you back, though you may sit in silence for a short period of time, frustrated. I hope you make that decision and orchestrate that plan and get where you need to go no matter what is holding you back or how many self destructive habits you've picked up along the way!
