Fanetic recently dropped a new album, Karen’s Legacy inspired by the death of his mom: “I found inspiration from a few places; some of it came from my experiences and conversations I've had with friends. The main inspiration was from my mother. I wrote the song "Legacy" while she was terminally ill in the hospital, right by her bedside. I planned on releasing an album one day that I wanted to be more personal. After she passed away, it felt like the world was ending but I was able to get through it. Music was a big reason for my resilience. I figured that if it helped me, then possibly I could help others with my message. That's when I thought of the name "Keren's Legacy". I knew that things were far from over. It became more important for me to carry on and do my best in life. This album is more personal. It's not me trying to make my self look like the most perfect person. I just wanted to really speak to people. If at least one person can feel inspired after hearing this album, then it's served it's purpose.” PLAY KAREN’S LEGACY NOW: fanetic.bandcamp.com #NewPost #TheLykeAesthetic #Music #Art #People #NewMusic #KarensLegacy #Fanetic #ChicagoRap #ParkForest #Inspiration #Community #BlackEconomics #BuyNow #Bandcamp June 15, 2016 at 10:24AM via Instagram http://ift.tt/1VZm3VI
